I started listening to The Genesis Book by Aaron van Wirdum this week.

It covers a range of topics surrounding the philosophies, economic theories, and technologies that made bitcoin possible, if not inevitable.

One of my favorite chapters so far is the story of the idealistic self-described hackers who developed the four essential freedoms of free software. Without them, we probably wouldn’t be talking on this protocol.
