Yikes… I got a fake recruiting email this morning for a VP of Marketing role at Threads. A quick glance of the email header reveals a domain name registered a few days ago that has no website.

These are scam job interviews where a fake hiring manager tells the applicant to install a video conferencing app that turns out to be malware designed to backdoor their computers and steal passwords and seed phrases. It’s a common attack by North Korean hackers, apparently.

Also, I would never apply for a job at Meta, so fuck that!
